I get asked what I use for equipment a lot when I post work online, so I thought I would give a quick little run down.  I am still building my gear bag, but I am also still learning.

I also have a RNG 35mm lens adapter for my camera.  This adapter lets me attach photography lenses on my camera.  It gives an amazing film like look.  Head over to the video page to see an example.

I also really enjoy do it yourself projects.  I have built a dolly, with only a trip to Home Depot.  I use clamp shop lights a lot, instead of expensive lighting.  I also edited on Final Cut Pro.

So, this will be my first official blog post and I wanted to start off with something small. I just wanted to post a few of my favorite websites that I go to on a regular basis. Most of them are photography websites. If anyone has any suggestions for sites I should check out, pass them on.

I have pretty much learned everything I know from strobist. If you don’t know what strobist is, it is basically off camera lighting techniques. If you have any interest in photography, lighting or even filmmaking, this is a blog worth giving a peak.

This is another lighting photography blog. Some amazing photographers and great use of off camera lighting. Look for their “Trash the Dress” stuff.

This is a blog I just recently found via Twitter. Jared Polin is an amazing photographer and has a knack at blogging. You can watch slide shows of his photography while he explains the photos using an audio player. Plus, he has an afro. To follow Jared on Twitter click here.
